Serena's sire, Atocha's Gold, was a breeding male from the Antacalla region of Peru with a fiber diameter of 23.6 microns selected for import to the United States in 1998. He was a beautiful medium fawn herdsire who has passed down some exceptional attributes to his daughter. Serena has stunning presence, an excellent bite and wonderful conformation. She is a big girl with a nice disposition. Her fleece is amazingly soft and very dense. When the vet had some difficulty taking a blood sample for a progesterone test, he exclaimed, "This female is just SOOO DENSE!" See her multiple blue ribbon and color champion son, Mr. Peruvian Sandman. Oh, and she likes to be scratched behind the ears!Serena just had a beautiful white female, Maia, who just took 4th place at the NE Expo and 4th place at Empire behind champ and res champ in WHITE huge class - full fleece halter shows.
